S.C. Wisconsin | I would say it depends how much you shoot. There are a lot of good books on handloading that have guidelines illustrations on brass. What usually happens is the cases stretch after a number of reloads and can discarded or trimmed by with a neck trimmer. I know you could save quite a bit of money by reloading the 25/06 if you don't figure your time. It's fun to experiment with different loads and fire them through a chronograph. Chronographs are not that expensive. I posted some of my loads a while back for my 6.5/06 and m 338/06. The 338/06 shot extremely accurate but am having some real problems with my 6.5/06 which is lobbing the bullets sideways. I suspect a dirty barrel. | |
