Davenport, Washington | It seems like you all have not heard of 7018 AC rod. Starts easy on AC and it is much better rod. 6011 is good for beginners because of the little slag. But 6011 is brittle compared to the low hydrogen qualities of 7018. I would rather have slag inclusions in the 7018 rather than a pretty 6011 weld. And lets face it what counts is a pretty weld with good penetration anytime. That's what sells! and the coming together is professionalism. Quite making excuses for Buster 50 and tell him how to become prefect at welding. My goodness! | |
