Southwestern Ohio | <p>Like the others said you just need a little more practice, we've all done plenty that look just like that when we started out. I would suggest grinding that down, turning the heat up and weld over it. I also bet you're probably not using the very best welder, but it can still do a good job. If I were there going to weld over that with an old AC welder I would use a 6011, they are good for vertical welds and are easy to keep the flux out, and will burn on any welder. On a side note it takes courage to post something like that so that you can learn to do it better. I'm sure that you're welding will be much improved in a short period of time. Larry</p>
