| ISU says soil tests for sulfur don't correlate with crop response to added sulfur. Just 4 or 5 years ago they said in Iowa that there wasn't any crop response to sulfur. Now they find it sometimes. Seems the only test for sulfur that works is to apply sulfur, maybe in strips to compare to no added sulfur and see if there is a benefit. On the other hand, sulfur from gypsum or AMS is not expensive and there is more than a little chance of it being beneficial.
