Sorry it took so long to get back, a "Super 10" is a a boat anchor trans made by Fuller in the 90's. It works like a 5x2 so you only move the stick for 5 gears, not 10. They rely on air to shift between "low" and "high" and I've never seen one actually work the way it's supposed to. They'll grind when you switch ranges every time, and when you go to move gears ( 2nd high to 3rd low for example) it'll get caught between ranges and grind. Some people love these things, I've never had any luck with them. If this is what is in your truck that could be it. I learned on a 9 speed and then a 10, and the Super 10 drove me crazy.
