No, we just have a couple of these Sioux feeders in the feed lots. What I am going off of, the lot that the calves are in has a feeder and a bale ring sitting on cement side by side. You can tell a difference but I would question it's 30%.
Wow, that thing is nice. One problem I have with calves on a bale ring is they can't reach all the way in to get all of it because their necks aren't long enough. Does that cone insert feeder make it easier for them to reach?
