If I sell $8 corn this year it wil have nothing to do with how much my machinery cost. It was planted with a $7000 planter a $17000 tractor and harvested with a $14000 combine. Mother nature is the one responsible for todays prices, and no amount of equipment or money can change that. just last spring people were talking that we would be selling $4 corn and $6 beans this fall.
