Shelbina, Missouri (NEMO) | They definitely work better in short beans than an auger head, but I'll tell you this: Nothing is perfect... They are still liable to bunch up at the cutterbar, and there will certainly be some "escapees" that go under the bar instead of onto the belt. I've cut a lot of short beans with an FD70. I probably won't have to cut any this year. I don't think we'll have any beans fit to cut here in NEMO.
