John, didn't see the reddish discoloration you talked about. Would be kind of strange to see it in such a small area only and nowhere else. Must be lightning. 

Most of my beans are at that stage. Flowered about a week ago. Some tall, some short. Need to hurry to get my 2nd cultivation done before they canopy. Don't think we're ahead of last year tho. I think we're right on par.
