Western Iowa | How many corn growers have enterprise units crop ins and have a percentage of the corn under irrigation?
I have about 20% under irrigation that looks good but after missing the rain last night it is the beginning of the end for the other 80%. I am fighting the urge to go into self preservation mode and quit watering the 20% but I wouldn't feel right about it. I've decided to make the. 20% the best it can be for aph reasons but it makes a guy think.
In the last few weeks and in the next few months this site is going to be used as a therapy source for many farmers with heavy losses. Keep in mind that a good friend will listen and offer support our friends. This is not the time to be critical or harsh in our responses to these looking for sympathy. Well try again next year I guess.
