Why does milk have to move higher? Aren't you making money at $16?

Im not even sure milk is even at 16, but because of you question, I am wondering if you milk cows or ever have? Or I should ask if you ever fed dairy cows? That low dollar/low protein/low energy/ feed that is mostly available wont get you much of anything for milk you do know, Right?......So feed costs are high to make milk......
100 lb of food for 16 $$ is still real cheep food........(IMO)That turns into about 60+$ in the marketplace on the shelf.Where is the forgiveness in that markup?
WE are out of dairy.....(we were small producers).. got tired of getting beat up on something that was a thankless job with no future for our area.......
