| Anthony, to try and have those two surgeries on the same day would be tough. For the knee surgery, is it just an arthroscopic knee surgery?, Will you need crutches? Really doesn't matter, you will need strong back, or core muscles to deal with it and if you would throw in a back surgery, you would be in a very weakened condition. Yes I know a farmer really doesn't want to be down for the count, but you better have a back up plan for help as you might need it. If you push yourself before you are ready you could do more damage then you went in to get repaired.
As for the smoking, he isn't just telling you to stop smoking for your long term health, smoking does something to your body that makes it more difficult for the body to heal after surgery. Not easy but worth a try. | |
