Subject: RE: You're missing the point ~

central - east central Minnesota -

Mizzou Tiger - 6/17/2012 09:17 Three guys in MN talking great crops........ It's 2010 or 2011 all over again........and you think we have backyarditis.......... We will know if this crop is average or below average in 3weeks....... And average is 148........ And I would think you boys that did get rain would want the trade to look at the dry areas......sell lots of grain at hi prices...... And zero rain here and 95 and wind all week coming our way.......so if you did get an inch it will be gone by Wednesday......corn here will be toast this time next week.....guess we won't have to worry about it then......

Tiger, you need to really stop and look . . . .
It's not 3 guys in Mn - It's several thousand contracts of new crop being traded by the board that is driving the numbers  . . . . . .
They really don't care what it's like in your fields or what you think the acres should be or the yeilds - they think the acres are there and the yeild will be there. It's very reflective in their bids on the board ~
If there's any hope for higher prices, it could happen later in the season  - likelly in 2013, if, if it is that bad around the whole corn / bean belt . . . . . .
