11 oz. PH is in the high 7's. Fertility is good. In fact the in row N levels are high because of the planter band and the strip till band.

I used to run into this kind of thing with alfalfa chemicals. The label and reps left out a lot of important info that we needed. Had to learn the hard way and not make that mistake again. I am never using Verdict again. Going back to my standard method of not applying any chemical until the corn is up and growing. I feel that our long cold springs make any potential chemical injury more likely. There have also been some drift issues with Verdict in this area. The rep now says do not use it near an orchard. It's just a chemical that is not suited to this area. Too bad the rep misrepresented it. Depending upon how the yield turns out they may wish they hadn't.
