Make sure an tell everybody he knows about the disease. Friends teachers etc. A buddy off mine had it an I knew what he was going through since my Dad had it when he got older. Social situations are tough when food is involved surgary drinks an foods are pretty common/ Illness can throw your blood sugar off as well.
