Subject: RE: Green Tagging vs. Gold Tagging

The "green tag" or "gold tag" usually represents a certain health program. It is mainly used on calves, not sure if I ever heard of it on yearlings. It has been a long time since we bought local cattle, but as a kid my dad pretty much thought is was a joke locally, (people would say whatever to get the extra buck) Seems like maybe out west it is more dependable.
