Okay, I'm up for an education tonight. Been buying lightweight steers and heifers for the last two years through the local salebarn then turn around and sell them at about 700#. I have never heard or seen anything special about the tags other than the EID, which is no longer bringing premium at a sale. Explain the purpose of the color tags other than farmer's like for one color over another.
