I'm not planning on them eating just stalks for sure. I wasn't sure how well they would adjust to eating the "good stuff" on the ground after being on a cow for their whole life and then just recently being weaned. Also, would you think a 2-wire electric fence would do the job of keeping them in for the winter? thanks
