Subject: What I've found works...

Hunted coyote's a couple times, they get smart after awhile. Quickest way to thin out coyotes, and wolves for that matter(though I don't openly recommend killing wolves ;) ;) )....is to soak some sponges in blood from a butchered animal. Stick a good 15-20 medium sized fishing treble hooks in the sponge. Coyotes will ingest the sponges, hooks and all, and it'll tear up their guts on the inside, and they'll die within a couple weeks. Won't be able to eat, granted they'll be irritable, but who cares, sure takes care of the nuisance. Repeat as needed, hanging the soaked and embedded sponges about a foot or two off the ground from tree branches, fence posts, etc. Do this over the course of 3-5 days, you'll pretty much have the problem licked. Literally.
