btw, my reason for asking for location information - closer than "an I state" - is the fact these planters are heavy, as commented by others above.

Especially when planting corn early in some soils and climate areas, the bean rows are all up in the air and behind the planter's truck tires adding to the frame weight.

Not a problem in all areas nor when used mostly as a bean planter with all row units down but can be an issue in some areas.
