West Union, Illinois | Unfortunately Steve, most of it still is. We're at a point it will take two to do it safely. Between being gone for family stuff (Christmas in Wisconsin AND Tennessee because my wife and I were free to travel and the kids couldn't), my daughter getting married in TN and moving to N Carolina, other family obligations, illness, and just normal doing what has to be done ... We aren't making fast progress.
For example yesterday. Son in law had to make a quick run to town to the insurance office. While there his Dad called. His pickup died on the interstate a fe miles out of town. Nobody's fault, just took most of the morning. We're just getting started after lunch when they tone out the ambulance for a man falling off a roof. Knowing what the situation probably was by the address we responded for lifting assistance (we're on the Fire Dept). I ended up driving the ambulance. Another afternoon gone.
It's been like that for 6 weeks. It's beginning to be the new normal. | |
