Northeast Nebraska and Candelaria Philippines
Wait 10 years down the raod, when you stop at the store and that 20 ounce bottle of pepsi sets you back $5.00. This is a real posibility. The value of money is going to go down. People will invest in hard assets like land to protect there money from inflation. In fact, chances are if you had a million dollars in the bank a year ago, today with interest you have 1,020,000 today. With that being said, you could have bought a lot more stuff a year ago then you could today.

For example.. 1 year ago, you could have taken that money and bought 5 new John Deere Tractors at $200,000 each.

Today, if you took those tractors and parked them, you could probably turn around and sell those tractors you bought for 1 million for 1,100,000. That is how fast things are inflating. And that is why buynig land even with a 1 or 2 % ROI can been seen as a wise investment.
