NE South Dakota Clark, SD
I believe once the 30 days is past, it is set in stone. But I believe you can get another determination done. I am not sure if you have to wait so long or not. I have seen a trend toward if you appeal everything that is questionable, and win a few, your next assessments can start to be more favorable. It is crazy what one county office will call a wetland and another will not. In the same field this year I have run solid tile through planted crop and perf through cattails. Of all years, if you planted it this year in our area, there is no way it should be a wetland. I have quite a few customers that are fed up with NRCS and are looking at bailing out of the Program. I neither recommend nor discourage this. Is is all up to you and what fits your total bottum line.
