BenP where are you from in central Nebraska? We have been planting white for 3yrs and going heavy on it for our 4th year. Its no diff than yellow. Has a higher tw. We are hauling white now out of bins with a 62tw -63.5tw. One thing we found out this past summer is white corn doesn't like wind. Very succeptible to green snap. So insure accordingly. Any other questions ask or e-mail me.

We're north and east of Grand Island about 15 miles, around Worms. We had a neighbor raise some this year, so we were kind of curious about it, then got contacted about growing it, so I guess we'll see. We're just a mile west of the Pioneer seed block, so this would be a nice way for us to grow something with a premium, if it works out. Where are you from in Merrick County? Just wondering, because depending on where you are, we might share some soil characteristics, so I was thinking maybe you could tell me what varieties you planted. Thanks!
