| D&K, I've also seen plenty of kids come from households where the parents thumped the bible, hell and damnation talk all the time. Those kids turned as far as they could from religion, and did the wrong things like you talked about. Just to get away from all the pressure, in turn they wrecked their own lives.
I've also seen kids come from broken homes, parents did drugs, locked up all the time. My uncle adopted three kids from a family like that. They realized that they were given a second chance at a solid loving home life. They wanted no part of drugs, I still remember the one boy only 7 years old telling his mother, she was wasting her life away doing that funny powder up her nose! | |
