Did one about 10 years ago. One thing was to plant at 2.5 mph. A planter does do a better job of placement at that slow speed. Actually had to raise the depth a little.
The rest was higher fertility and a little higher population...I think 36,000 was best. 40,000 was too thick.
Made 294 when most corn was just breaking 200.
