N.W. Illinois
I have several fields with confirmed Goss's Wilt. Since it cooled down here 2 weeks ago (high temp of 75-80 low temp in the 50's -60's) the Goss's Wilt has stopped spreading in the plants and in the field. Goss's Wilt must have heat to spread and multiply. The Goss's Wilt will have little effect on my corn yields this year. If it had stayed hot the outcome did not look good.
