quote. hayinhere

quote  (  There is more to it than just "catching" it from neighbors fields.  I have neighbors that continuously plant dekalb, and another that continously plants pioneer.  They have had Goss's wilt surrounding my field on 3 sides last year and the year before.  The neighbors decided not to plant corn this year because of it.  I have been using Syngenta corn lately and have not had any goss's in the field that is surrounded by the goss's wilt

Another field of mine that was 100 miles away that had no corn nearby (surrounded by pastures) and had only had corn planted on it a couple times before got goss's when I planted 10 bags of Dekalb.  This year it's back to NK68B on that field and there is no goss's wilt, but there is some moderate grey leaf spot.

I would stay away from that variety and company whose corn has goss's and see what happens.  )   End of quote
