I'm slightly confuse by soil-life's statements. I agree you have to just observe, but at the same time you may not have Goss' Wilt in Ohio, but we don't have much of it in south central MN yet, either. It will get here, eventually. But I'm not seeing it on Pioneer, DK, Channel, Croplan, etc. It doesn't have much to do with the brand name...it's all about the variety and genetics for a defense against the bacterium. All I can say is good luck picking a hybrid that can tolerate the bacteria..it's a very tough position.
