This is the quote that issue was taken with.

You disagreed with the poster who took issue with the statement.

The statement is hogwash and so is your defense of it.

If Hydrogen is not a plant nutrient, then a plant nutrient does not exist.

Edit: If you left off "the statement is correct" from the first sentance of your quote then maybe I could agree with the rest of your post.  But then again, what would be the point of singling out only hydrogen for the "by itself" part of your reply.
