A couple guiding principles on tillage

1- Tillage is temporary as Mother nature will re-consolidate soil to some equilibrium level.

2- Tillage begets tillage. The more often and deep you till, the more you will need to perform tillage to have a "workable" soil or to level out the issues caused by prior tillage action. Want to make more deep ruts, do more deep tillage.


3. No-till does not work everywhere, every time, in every soil. BTDT
