Subject: Re: Dealership Problems

Northern CA
I talked with the owner today and he is willing to only take off $1,600. He says the problem with the lube pump was misdiagnosed when he called tech support at Agco and nobody ever told them to flow test it, only pressure check it. I reiterated that me, as the customer, should not be responsible for the lack of knowledge, but he doesn't think they should be either since Agco didn't inform them correctly. I told him the reason I paid dealer labor was because I didn't know all the aspects of the tractor and didn't want this type of disaster to happen. So, I guess we are at a stand-still. This dealer, as with all colors, is over 100 miles away and the closest. I am not sure I want to alienate them as I might need them in the future, yet I am not sure I ever need one of these issues again, either. Not sure what I should do now...
