The effects of solar activity get progressively worse as you move farther north. I work with farmers as far north as 55 degrees, and with the poor constellation.. we have real headaches, without solar activity. With a good solar storm, and intense auroral activty, some days you simply have to tell the guys..."it ain't gonna work very good!"
