West Michigan | Picking the wrong hybrid will cost you way more than 3bu first 6bu bushel second year that you give up with the latest and greatest. You may want to have people that need a seed dealer to pick the hybrids but I am saying you don't have to. Some people still do and I used to. But one thing your not telling is that the lastest hybrid that yields 3 bu more cost more, taking half of that increase away in seed price. ROI on a five year old hybrid that is proven on my farm is way better than the lastest and greatest hybrid that is not proven. I know this to be fact.
