I hate to say it. But your analysis leads to paralysis. There is no way to test each hybrid in small quantities for 2 years until it becomes a big player for you on the 3rd year. Genetics and yields are improving on average by 3bpa each year. By the time you wait for the 3rd season to fully commit to something you are too far behind the best genetics. You are losing money each year by doing this. You need a good seed dealer that you can trust who has seen the corn in many different environments and can give you a recommendation. It seems like you are kind of scared of your own shadow when it comes to choosing hybrids. | |
