West Michigan | Thats right case 8930. We have been sidetracked on this post some. My point to the original poster is not everyone wants the same thing. And most of the time the younger folks like myself don't need or want salesmen riding around in our combine all fall and then if they do get info from that sharing it with all the neighbors so they can use it to bid up ground that I would like to try to farm.
As you said a dealer that can make a good call on a hybrid is rare. I would agree and the way the dealers have been pushed off to ag retailers the turn over is huge. I have one that I have been with a long time but he is an indepentant. So if you do find a so called trusted one and need him to make your hybrids selections for you what happens when he leaves or takes another job????? You arer left out to hang in the wind. I want best price and service (seed and treatments anytime i need them) and will use the means that I have to pick them myself. | |
