I would love to put a 2 stroke in an 88, or about anything else.  I have no problem with the concept of doing it.  I am sure it can be done.  I am starting to get the impression that you have the connections and abilities to make it happen.

It does concern me a little that you think it's a economical move....if economics are the greatest consideration, there are other choices which would probably be better.
