Northeast Louisiana
CO2 levels are claimed to cause warming, but we also know that warming causes more rapid decomposition of organic matter, which would raise the amount of CO2 given off. So it almost becomes a chicken or egg question. Does rising CO2 levels cause warming, or does warming cause higher CO2 levels? Which is the cause and which is the effect.
We know the earth has been warming since the last ice age, since before any of modern man's inventions. So isn't it more logical to conclude that whatever natural conditions led to warming after the ice age are still at workand are causing the rise in natural CO2 production? Many climatologists still think we are headed toward the next ice age.
