I think if it was addressed to you and delivered then they really can't require it to be returned. I was their mistake. It might be different with private delivery, but I thought a few years back if something was delivered to you by mail that you didn't order, you could keep it free of charge. Tell them you donated it to the needy and if they want it back they have to come get it.
