All I could think of is; see if you can get new joints with the zerks in each cap instead of just one on the yolk.

I kind of like those for greasing! Handy to grease in tight yokes!
As far as grease not getting into all the caps, that sort of common and the ones with zerks on the caps sometimes only have on or 2 caps with zerks.
