Farming in Michigan | We're running an older Wilmar S500 and looking to convert it to variable rate; we're leaving the spinners pto-driven for now. Yes we'll need to add the hydraulic motor in place of the ground drive for the apron chain, add the encoder, and tie it all into our controller.
If you've done something similar please share photos of how you fabbed it all up on the spreader. I've searched several old posts and am interested in as many ideas as possible before we do this,
