Did you check which satelite constelation was active at that moment, and if WAAS which WAAS satelite was being watched?

Think this erratic behaviour could well come from instable GPS reception.
Was told that when a satelite is replaced by another gps position can change.... have wittnessed it this winter while tilling fields with an EZ-Steer: my guess row would start changing place while the tractor wasn't moving at all!
