Western, New York | Alot of people give cats away for free. All of the barn cats we have had were free. The older ones are hit and miss. Some will take off like a bat out of hell as soon as you get them there. some will stick around, Some will stick around and venture out too far at night and get eaten. Best thing we have found is find some feral kittens and raise them inside for a couple months then move them outside. They will be friendly and hang around. Either cats or rat poison but I prefer cats
