Virginia, Northern Neck | Just use rodenticide in and under your mobile home, with screening and caulking (with steel mesh if needed) to keep out larger animals.
The rodents will die off pretty quick, and some might even live long enough to transfer rodenticide to the larger animals that live close by.
Just be sure to use bait stations in areas where your own animals might get access, and try to keep dead rodents away from your own animals.
We check rodenticide and replace as necessary twice a month, and it keeps the rodents out of our home, buildings, and vehicles.
Rotate between a couple of different rodenticides to avoid them developing resistance.
I think it's a lot neater, cleaner, and cheaper than keeping a pack of cats, as always, I could be wrong.
