Boone Co. Iowa
We had opportunity for a 25-40 acre solar farm. Would pay 5-10x the current $/acre rent.

Coop electric utility swooped in at the last minute and changed the legislative bill that would have allowed it to proceed.

Living in the land of Landus and Midland Energy Cooperatives, I cannot tell you how disgusted I am with “locally owned” cooperatives.

But, they do a great job of selecting their board members and getting folks to vote.

I get a choice of 1 candidate. Also get chance for sweepstakes drawing for a $50 credit for “voting.”
