So, Are Solar farms taxed as commercial property? One local county board member says, yes they will be taxed as commercial property instead of farmland. Are individual solar systems taxed? Google says no, at least not in Illinois.
An area the size of Spain could power the world if totally covered with Solar panels.
Is solar on farm ground really that bad?
