Who knows what the other side of this conversation is, I could see how the farmhand could feel frustrated doing all of this management and feel short changed with the owner possibly moving the goal posts at times. That might not be the case here but it is very common in these transitional stories of the owners constantly changing what the goals and timelines are while the person who is getting the handoff sits there frustrated because the owner doesn't want to give up control. | |
