Illinois took most of the zoning power(s) for solar and wind farms away from the counties, and claimed them for the state.
It is believed in 1 or 2 years this will happen in Iowa and it probably needs too.
I got a few friends in Tama county and what has happened there the last six months is a poster child for less county control. I'd be livid if I lived there.
Is solar on farm ground really that bad?
