East central Indiana
I have a guy nearby that has been running a ton every other year for last 10 years and was told his sulfur was not increasing on soil tests over that time period but his mag had came down to the point where he would have to spread high mag lime instead of high cal low mag lime which is normal because high mag is around us. I spread on 50 foot widths and was getting a consistent coverage even though I did not pan test it. The gypsum had a density of 55 where dry ag lime around 90. I also run 20 ish pounds of elemental in the fall with potash but had some acreage that vrt maps required no potash so ran gypsum on those acres. A semi load will cover a 100 acres at 500 pound rate.
