SE Iowa
Not an expert but the person who sprays some of my corn fungicide with a Hagie does this cause his dad and I both work for the same utility company. He has access to gypsum from the local coal plant so I did some asking. I thought his sulfur numbers were maybe even higher than what you listed but they spread late fall to mid winter and it has been 100% of the sulfur they need. I asked if they have seen any drawbacks to the process, soil conditions, or yield and so far they had not. This was ahead of corn last two years same field. His yield last year was impressive and this year it’s one of the best looking fields around when I drive by down the road.
